Moving Along....Week 14

I am moving along in the pregnancy with Baby Copenhaver. This week I will be 14 weeks and feel much better than previously! We went to the doctor Friday and heard the baby's heartbeat and it was amazing and was around 160 bpm. Our next appointment is on Easter Monday for the ultrasound. We can't wait for this and are very happy that both of our mother's will be able to go with us to that appt. to sneak a peak at Baby C as well. Will post more soon.

Day One

Today I am starting a blog. This is new to me, so bear with me as I start this. :)
I am starting a blog so that I can document our life and what leads ahead for us.
We found out on December 30,2009 that we were expecting our first child. Very suprised, we went to the OB MD the following day, New Years Eve, which ironically was our 7 year anniversary! All looked good with the pregnancy and we were told to come back on January 26, 2010. We immediately told our parents and all were ecstatic for us, which was a relief!
Our next appt seemed like ages away, but it passed with many days of nausea and sleepless nights. We went to the doctor yesterday and were given a due date of Sept. 8, 2010 which means that I am a mear 8 weeks along today. The baby looked great on ultrasound and we heard the most precious sound in the world.....the heartbeat of our first child. It was amazing and really made this feel "real" to both of us.
